On a recent trip to Turkey, we fell in love with Istanbul, a city steepd in history and superstitions. We loaded up on the protective spirit of the Nazar Evil Eye and sourced some to bring home to share with you.

The Evil Eye is one of the world's oldest protective symbols. The belief that an envious or malicious gaze could bring misfortune appears across cultures dating back thousands of years. The eye-shaped nazar amulet emerged as a protective talisman, traditionally believed to deflect, absorb, or ward off the negative energy of the evil eye.
